Baltimore - College kids hear it all the time: if you want a job, you need to get an internship. The internship can open up doors, make connections and give you real-world experience. The reality is, sometimes getting an internship can be just as hard as getting a job. Fortunately in our community we have the Baltimore Collegetown Network. It is a one-stop site for internships postings for students at 14 area colleges

Kristen McGuire is the executive director of Baltimore Collegetown Network and was a guest on Good Morning Maryland @ 9. She not only talked about how to use the site, but also gave advice on steps college students should take if they are looking for an internship.
