Looking for a job can be a daunting experience. Sometimes it’s hard to stay upbeat when things aren’t going your way, but it’s important to remain optimistic. Career expert Joni Daniels was a guest on Good Morning Maryland at 9:00, sharing her advice on staying positive during your job search. For example she suggests, taking every interview offered. Daniels says don’t screen yourself out of consideration before you are even offered a job. You never know who you might meet, who they might know and what other opportunities might exist. You might even find yourself considering a job in a different direction than originally planned. Plus there is value in the practice and honing of your interview skills.
