• Conducted a comprehensive multilevel organizational assessment related to opportunities for personnel growth within the agency.
• Established an emergent succession plan for the executive director by working directly with the Board of Director’s governance committee and other members of the leadership team.
• Developed a Management / Supervisors training curriculum for new and current supervisors within the agency
• Designed a Leadership Development Program for first time supervisors, providing them with the tools needed to enable them to make a successful transition into a leadership role.

As a volunteer with GLSEN, I have presented workshops on bullying for professionals and students in the Baltimore City Public School System—addressing issues such as becoming an ally and developing bullying policies.

As a pro-active board member, involvement in recruitment efforts, open houses, and media campaigns; maintained reciprocal communication with the principle and staff in support of policy development and fiscal management to insure the successful start and sustainability of this new school.

Volunteered and served as Head Coach and Assistant Coach of the 8 – 9 year old boys’ basketball team during the 2005/2006 and 2006/2007 seasons.

Designed and facilitated workshops on cultural competence in the mental health community related to the provision of a safe environment for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, and transgender individuals with mental illness.
