BALTIMORE - Nissan is recalling certain 2011-2012 Juke, Infiniti QX, and Infiniti M vehicles because of the risk of a fire.
Fuel pressure sensors in the vehicles may not have been tightened to the correct specifications. Improperly installed sensors combined with heat and vibrations could cause fuel to leak, and also increases the rick of a fire in the vehicle.
Nissan will notify owners, who can get the fuel pressure sensors replaced as needed at dealerships.
The safety recall is expected to begin on March 19. Call 615-725-1000 or visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Web site for more information: http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/recalls/latestRecalls.cfm.
