Ford mini van and SUV recalls

Ford is recalling nearly half-a-million mini vans and SUV's.
205,000 Freestar and Mercury Monterey mini vans from model years 2004 and 2005 are being recalled because of a mechanical issue that can cause a loss of power.
More than 240,000 Escape SUV's from model years 2001 and 2002 are being recalled because of a leaky brake fluid cap.
Ford says it will notify owners and replace the parts for free.
