The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced that Dorel Juvenile Group is recalling nearly 800,000 child safety seats.
The harness locking and release button does not always return to its locked position which can loosen the harness and increase the risk of a child being hurt in a crash.
The problem involves seats made from May 2008, through April 2009. Those seats have a "center front adjuster" for the harness. These include infant, convertible, and booster child restraint seats.
For more information, you can call Dorel Juvenile Group at 1-866-623-3139.
