Washington - The ANTILOP high chair was sold from August 2006 through January 2010 for around $20.
IKEA posted the warning on their website following the announcement from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada.
Regulators say IKEA received eight complaints about the safety belt worldwide, including three reports of children suffering minor injuries after falling from the chairs.
The high chairs were imported by IKEA North America and sold exclusively at IKEA stores, majority of the chairs were sold in the US.
Owners of the high chair should stop using it until they can get the free seat restraint replacement installed.
The telephone number to IKEA is (866) 966-4532, or visit the company's website at www.ikea-usa.com for information on getting the replacement part.
