Eggies, I love the eggies, and the bottle toppers that fit on the soda can they do really well."
If you've seen it on TV...its likely Debbie Linton has tried it at home.
The Carroll county mom calls herself the Gadget Queen...so Debbie didn't think twice about putting our Fresh Fridge Balls to the test.
That'll be interesting.
The little plastic balls are supposed to keep your produce fresh...and if you buy a lot of fruits and vegetables like Debbie ....you know it doesn't last long.
I'm fairly optimistic that this is gonna work. Lettuce is going to be the big tasks because it is the worse to try and keep fresh."
We left them with Debbie.....our gadget queen says she's noticed a common theme with these as seen on TV products and the balls were no exception.
I feel the biggest drawback with any of these products is they do not come with detailed instructions......even if you go on the internet and look it will basically tell you the same thing.....put in your produce draw that’s it.
Four days later we checked in with Debbie.
"I did not unwrap the lettuce. I left everything in its cellophane because I wasn't sure because there weren't directions but its still brown."
No rave reviews here.
It was slimy and brown.
Debbie wasn't impressed.....especially after peeling through layer after layer.
The outside alone would turn me off.
That's a lot of lettuce that I would not serve my family.
Debbie did a little comparison.
The head of lettuce that is in the drawer with the ball is browner than the one without.
I would be very disappointed if I spent my 4 or 5 dollars on that.
And that's the going rate for fridge ball online.....but still not a bargain for Debbie.
I would have to say F...because the other one looks better, without the help.
But even a failing grade on the fridge balls wouldn't be enough to stop the Gadget Queen from trying other products.
If something else came along and I thought humm....I would try it.
