BALTIMORE - With a turkey, stuffing, and all the sides----the cost of Thanksgiving dinner doesn't come cheap.
According to the American Farm Bureau Federation----the average cost of dinner for ten is $49.48.
Thankfully the cost has gone up only $.28 compared to last year.
Economists say the majority of the bill goes towards the turkey.
The foods that are actually cheaper this year, compared to last Thanksgiving are whipped cream, stuffing, and sweet potatoes.
Items going up in price are ingredients like onions, eggs, sugar, flour, and butter.
