BWI's largest airline launches special fall promotion

BALTIMORE -  

In effort to drum up more fall business, Southwest Airlines has announced the company will be doubling rewards for Rapid Rewards Members.

According to a news release on the company’s website, members will receive 12 points (instead of six) for each dollar spent on Wanna Get Away fares, 20 points (instead of ten) for each dollar spent on Anytime Fares, and 24 points (instead of 12) for each dollar spent on Business Select fares.

To be eligible, members are required to register for the promotion on the Southwest website prior to travel between September 13 and November 15, 2012. Flights must also be booked and take place between those two dates.

Southwest Airlines is the largest airline at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshal Airport (BWI).
