BALTIMORE - Black Friday sales were up 7 percent over last year, giving a holiday boost to stores, but shoplifting is also up this season.
One in every 11 people who enter a store will walk out with at least one item they didn’t pay for according to a recent Adweek article .
Shoplifting is up 6 percent from last year said Michael C. Creedon, the North American Vice President for retail sales at ADT Commercial Security, in the article.
