BALTIMORE - The MDSPCA's Aileen Gabby brought Seymour, Good Morning Maryland's pet of the week into the studio Friday.

Gabby said that sometimes we treat little dogs differently than larger ones, giving them a sort of "Napolean Complex" sometimes.

Dogs are pack animals and need to be at the bottom of the pack to be well-behaved. Make sure they know you're the head of the pack by following these tips:

  • Go out the door first
  • Give them permission to eat
  • Don't let them on your furniture, unless you give them permission

If you're interested in adopting him, call the Maryland SPCA at 410-235-8826 or go to http://www.mdspca.org/ .
