BALTIMORE - You’ll need your air conditioner today. Follow these tips to make sure it works.

The experts say to keep three tips in mind:

  • Make sure to kept your air filters clean. They should be located near the return air duct.
  • Flip the switch on the thermostat for the fan setting to fan ON, not AUTO.
  • And, always make sure that you wash the outside condenser coil once a year.
