BALTIMORE - Harry Friner is a child, but he is braver than most adults. At just 3 years old, he is in the fight for his life. He has a rare form of leukemia and a bone marrow transplant will save his life. The problem is, finding a bone marrow donor isn’t always easy. That’s why the community is holding a bone marrow drive this weekend.

Registering is quick and easy. Dr. Joe Wiley from Sinai Hospital was a guest on Good Morning Maryland at 9:00 and talked about the process and why it’s so important. Harry sister, 7 year old Ella came on the show too. If you’d like to see the interview, click on the video box to the left.

The bone marrow registry drive is February 5th at the Trinity Church at 2907 Mountain Road in Joppa. It runs from 9:00-2:00pm.
