BALTIMORE - Everyone loves a bargain. This weekend you can get your hands on great deals for a good cause.
It’s the Nearly New Sale and it is a huge success. Twice each year, GBMC volunteers devote their time and effort to the hospital's semi-annual Nearly New Sale. It’s a successful fund-raising event that contributes all of its proceeds back to the Health System. Employees, volunteers, and the general public get an opportunity to buy treasures, trinkets, and necessities from furniture, clothing, jewelry and silver to appliances, sporting goods, toys and games, and much more -- all at nominal prices. Past sales have resulted in raising more than $250,000 annually.
You can learn more about the sale by watching an interview with Beth Sykes and Andrea Fine in the video box on the left side of this page.
