BALTIMORE - Amid early speculation and "fan boys'" guessing, Nolan's final installment to his Dark Knight trilogy premieres are midnight Thursday (12:01 a.m. Friday, if you want to be exact).
The film, a follow-up to 2008's "The Dark Knight," pits the central character, Bruce Wayne/Batman, against the villain Bain.
Early ticket sales have exceeded $25 million, and tracking on the movie has it close to $185 million. Some movie experts say the film could challenge the current record of $207 million, held by "The Avengers" from earlier this year.
