DETROIT - Sign this kid up for "Celebrity Apprentice."

A 9-year-old Detroit boy who wanted to help his cash-strapped city opened a stand selling lemonade, fruit punch, water and popcorn.

Joshua Smith was hoping to raise $1,000. Instead, he raked in $3,600 in about a week. He's been thanked by the mayor, given an award from the city council and honored by the Detroit Lions. The money is expected to be earmarked for parks and recreation.
