BALTIMORE - More reported cases of child abuse are on the rise in Baltimore city. This year it's estimated that about 1100 children will seek help. The Baltimore Child Abuse Center provides all reported victims of child sexual abuse in Baltimore with comfort, medical treatment, referrals and crisis counseling services.
With more cases on the rise it's more important than ever to raise awareness and funds so this weekend the center is having a fundraiser. It's Sunday from 11:00 - 3:00 pm at the Quarry Lake at Greenspring.
It will be a fun carnival-style event for all ages. Admission is $25 per family and will include 20 tickets.
