TOWSON, Md. - Some stores have started a massive blitz to sell as many gifts as possible right up until Christmas, but is this going too far?
Many stores like Macy’s , which is staying open 3 days straight before Christmas, are extending their business hours.
On Friday stores like Toys “R” Us, Old Navy, and Kohl’s will stay open for 24 hours and will close at 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
JCPenney and Sears will be open until midnight on Friday.
According to one consumer report, by December 14, consumers on average have only purchased about 46 percent of their holiday shopping. Many people bought gifts for themselves on Black Friday.
Many stores will also have last minute markdowns. Check with your local stores to see their hours and sales.
