Without question Andy is the best gift Dave and Anne have ever received. Andy is 2 and before he ever entered their lives Dave saw the pregnancy was a tough one for Anne, "I wanted to do something. Then I heard from a friend, hey don't forget to get her a push present."
Anne didn't know anything about push presents, says it was a nice surprise, "When you're a pregnant woman and you can't bend over to tie your shoes. It's really nice to know someone appreciates that you're adding a wonderful addition to the family and you're doing all the work so thanks a lot."
Anne's gift: two charms that add to a bracelet that's very special to her, "I was definitely surprised and it was really nice that he took the time and found something that was really cute."
It's becoming more and more common, buying jewelry for a new mom, "A push present would be a piece that a guy would get for his wife that would commemorate the birth of their child."
Renee Wiley from Radcliffe Jewelers gave Megan Pringle a peak at everything. From the pretty. To the sentimental, "We have charms in both white and yellow gold that can engrave the initial or monogram. We have an asher cut eternity band. It's set in platinum and has a total weight of eight carats in diamonds.
But push presents aren't for every mom. Tara Davis says after both her children were born not only did she not need anything more, she couldn't imagine asking for it, "You have a beautiful baby and that's a gift itself, the gift of life."
