The new Girl Scout cookie "Savannah Smiles" features more lemon flavor and dusted with powdered sugar.
Named after Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low's hometown, Savannah, Georgia, the cookie joins the line up of Thin Mints, Somoas, and Do-Si-Dos and is out just in time as the company celebrates it's 100th anniversary.
Little Brownie Bakers, the company that produces Savannah Smiles and several other varieties of the Girl Scout cookies says the new cookie is cool and crisp and has just the right number of lemon chips to deliver tiny bursts of flavor.
Most Girl Scout troops will start selling the cookies later this month or early in February.
