The latest trend in kids-wear has many mommy blogs blowing up:  high-heeled shoes.  A high-end fashion designer has come out with a line of 3-inch wedges just for little girls, and moms are sounding off.

The shoe line, called Michael Kors Keely Wedge, has been written about in several blogs, including Babble and msnbc.com.  It's a wedge like an adult would wear, decorated with studs and rhinestones.  They come in rose or silver and in sizes 1-5 youth.

What mom bloggers question is whether this is really appropriate for toddlers to be wearing.  They agree the shoes are cute, but not for girls to be running around on the playground.  Blogger Dana Macario asks the question, "Are heels for girls a harmless and fashionable wardrobe addition, or are they a faux pas?"
