BALTIMORE - The online dating industry makes $1.049 billion in revenue each year each year, according to statisticbrain.com .
According to the site there are 40 million eHarmony members and 15 million Match.com members, and it is costing the average online dating site customer $239 each year for the online services each year.
Free trials are available for Match.com & eHarmony, but both have subscription fees.
Several sites like OkCupid.com and datehookup.com also give cheaper options.
