BALTIMORE - You know Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and Vixen. You know about Santa, trees, lights and decorations. But do you know why we celebrate the traditions of the season?

Dr. Joseph Walsh with Loyola University joined Megan and Charley on Good Morning Maryland @ 9 to explain why we do some of the things we do. He also explained where some of the stories have originated and why commercialization of Christmas is not something that is all that new.
