BALTIMORE - "Hugo Salutes Our Veterans" provides returning veterans with canes, allowing them a life of mobility and normalcy when returning from the battlefield.

Veterans will be honored this Veterans Day in a national program in which 36,000  folding canes will be given free of charge to Veterans in need of mobility assistance.

The canes will be handed out at Sam's Club locations nationwide from November 9, 2011 through Veterans Day, November 11.

Lyn Brooks and Commander Melvin Smullen joined Charley and Sherrie on Good Morning Maryland to talk about the upcoming event.
