FREDERICK, Md. - Munch! munch!
That's the job description for some new groundskeepers in Maryland.
Officials from The Villages of Urbana have hired goats to clear weeds along the Sugarloaf Parkway.
The herd of about 30 goats should do the job in about two weeks.
Local officials say the animals are a fast, environmentally safe alternative for weed control.
Brian Knox of Eco-Goats is supplying the herd.
He tells a local paper (Frederick News-Post) the goats don't care about ticks and poison ivy in the
area where they'll be working.
