As October nears, you are seeing more Halloween themed movies and specials on TV.
Many of you will gather to watch the classic "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."
But, one dad says it's time to retire the classic cartoon.
In a blog post, on parenting website Babble.com he says the show has a taunting message and the kids use unkind words.
He argues that apart from a sense of nostalgia for parents, the Charlie Brown specials have nothing of value to offer today's kids and says the shows acceptance of schoolyard teasing is antiquated.
What do you think?
We want to know what you think about this. Is Charlie Brown inappropriate for kids? Weigh-in on our Facebook Hot Topic.
