UPDATE | As of 11:42 p.m., 29 roads are closed in Harford County.
Multiple roads are also closed in Baltimore County as a result of flooded roads and fallen trees.
In preparation of flooding from Hurricane Sandy, the City Department of Transportation decided to close the following intersections:
-Clipper Mill at Meadow Mills Business Park.
-Falls Road nears Streetcar Museum.
-Monument Street at Pulaski Highway.
-Aliceanna at Caroline Street.
-North Point at Kane West.
The mayor says police and emergency responders will be deployed throughout the city during the storm.
They will be able to respond to any incident.
Forestry and public works crews are also on stand-by.
911 and 311 are fully operational.
Use 911 for emergencies only.
