WESTMINSTER, Md. - The Baltimore Ravens will start the 2010 season without cornerback Dominique Foxworth. The 6 year veteran was participating in non-contact orientation practice on Thursday when he reportedly planted his foot the wrong way allowing the anterior cruciate ligament to tear.

Foxworth, who was entering his second season with the Ravens, was part of the number eight ranked defense in the NFL last season. He was expected be an important part of a secondary that now will look to Fabian Washington and Lardarius Webb, both of whom are coming off major knee injuries, among other players to replace Foxworth.

While the Ravens certainly have some depth in the secondary, the loss is the first significant injury for the Ravens in just their first few days of the 2010 Training Camp.
