DENVER - Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has accidentally, but perhaps providentially, made John 3:16 the most searched item on Google.

Not only did Tebow -- the outspoken son of Christian missionaries -- produce an upset victory over the Pittsburgh
Steelers with his touchdown pass in overtime, but that pass left him with 316 yards. He averaged 31.6 yards per toss, and CBS's TV rating peaked at 31.6 during the game.

All those 3-16s had flocks of fans searching the Internet, where they found the Bible verse where Jesus says: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have everlasting life."

In college, Tebow sometimes painted John 3:16 in the eye black on his face. But on Sunday, the numbers preached for themselves.
