WASHINGTON - Heading to the Inauguration on Monday? Taking the Metro or a Metrobus will probably be the easiest way to get there.

The Washington Metro Area Transit Authority recommends not switching lines on Monday. Here are the best Metro stops for getting to your destination:

Red line: Metro Center or Farragut North | Gallery Place or Metro Center | Farragut North
Orange line: McPherson Sq. or Farragut West | Metro Center or McPherson Sq. | L'Enfant Plaza or Foggy Bottom
Blue line: McPherson Sq. of Farragut West | Metro Center or McPherson Sq. | L'Enfant Plaza/Arlington Cem.
Green line: Gallery Place | Gallery Place | Waterfront
Yellow line : Gallery Place | Gallery Place | L'Enfant Plaza
Metro opening time
Metrorail will open Monday at 4 a.m. and close at 2 a.m. Tuesday. Rush hour service will run from 4 a.. to 9 p.m. Peak fees will apply during that time.
