Thief apologizes for robbing family

ONTARIO, Canada - A family in Canada learned it was burglarized, only after reading an apology note left by the thief.

According to the Canadian Broadcast Corporation someone broke into a home , while the owner was out for a walk. When the family returned home they found their belongings in a bag in front of their house. Inside was a camera, an X-Box, fifty-dollars and an apology note.

It said "I made the worst mistake of my life...I can't put into words how sorry I am. "

The family has asked for privacy but a neighbor says the letter really tugged at their hearts.
