NEW YORK - Sure, hospital bills can be high -- but nearly $45 million bucks?
Alexis Rodriguez says he almost had an asthma attack when he got his bill from the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center.
He tells the New York Daily News he feared the massive bill was legit.
Turns out he wasn't the only patient to get a seven-figure bill.
But the company that prepares the statements says it's due to a computer glitch.
Seems the invoice number was printed in the space where the amount was supposed to go.
Corrected bills are being sent to the patients.
