SALISBURY, Md. - Wicomico County public schools are providing parents with an online tool to access their child's academic progress.
The resource, called the Family Portal, is now open for the current academic year.
It displays an updated grade book, as well as attendance records and schedules.
It also allows parents to update their child's personal information.
The tool is available to parents, guardians and students in grades 3 to 12 and is use at the 23 of the county's 30 schools.
The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that teachers have up to two weeks to input student information, but many aim to make updates on a daily basis.
