ATLANTA - A tragedy for Usher and his ex-wife.

The singer's stepson has died. Kile Glover was 11 and was a son of Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster.

The child was hurt in a boating accident two weeks ago.

Since the boy was run over by a personal watercraft on Lake Lanier on July 6, he had been hospitalized with a major brain injury.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Kile died Saturday morning at an Atlanta area hospital.

And a funeral home in Atlanta confirms it is handling funeral arrangements for the youngster.

Authorities say the accident is still under investigation.

Before the accident, Usher had been in a legal battle with his ex-wife arising from a custody fight over the two sons they had together.
