Why Usher didn't have to wait in line to vote

ROSWELL, Georgia -
A lot of people had to endure long lines at the polls to cast their vote on Election Day -- a process that ended with the re-election of President Barack Obama.
But Usher didn't have to wait -- and that has upset some who had to wait their turn upset.
The singer was allowed to bust the line to cast his vote last Tuesday.
Election officials in Fulton County tell an Atlanta TV station that Usher was shown to the front of the line to minimize distractions.
The TV station reports the singer took cellphone pictures of himself voting -- then posted them on Twitter.
One county commissioner is questioning the decision to cut Usher some celebrity slack.
She says if anyone deserved to cut the line, it would have been people with disabilities, old people -- and voters with small children.
