Baltimore - I’ve never been to the City of Angels so I have no idea what to expect. The good news is the weather will be nice. It’s tough to complain about this assignment. I’ll spend a week in L-A covering our local celebrities on Dancing with the Stars. I’ve already done a few stories with Jacoby Jones and once I’m there I’ll meet Dorothy Hamill.
Now on to the important stuff, how do I dress? It doesn’t take much to entice me to go shopping. I’ve already been to the mall and had a little success. Today I went shoe shopping. When you’re out in the field reporting you want to be comfortable. However I am going to DWTS where there’s a lot of glitz and glam so I want to be cute too. Hollywood is the land of the beautiful people.
Saturday I got a chance to catch up with Jacoby and his dance partner Karina Smirnoff. While Jacoby was sweating up a storm, I was getting some fashion tips from Karina. She was very helpful! It was only their second practice but I could tell they have a lot of work to do. She says their first dance will be the Cha-Cha. It will give dancing fans a chance to see his personality. Jacoby said before Friday, he’d never even heard of the Cha-Cha. He likes it, but it’s a lot more difficult than he thought. It was challenge for me just sitting there watching it. Monday will be the real test when they’re all decked out in their purple before a national audience. I’m looking forward to seeing how far they’ve come and if the super star super bowl winning wide receiver can keep up with Karina.

"More Dance Moves"
The judges weren't the only ones loving Jacoby Jones' and Karina Smirnoff's semi-final performance. The fans loved it too.
This week all the stars danced two dances, a ballroom and a style chosen by fan tweets. It was a pretty spectacular night of competition.
Jacoby Jones is safe. His salsa was enough to get him through to next week's episode of Dancing With The Stars.
