Los Angeles (AP) - Those who were disappointed at the way the Grammys handled the tribute to Whitney Houston the day after she died can see the music industry take another crack at it on Sunday.

The 2012 Billboard Music Award will feature a special honor for the singer. She will be given the Billboard Millennium Award -- and some of her music will be performed by John Legend and Jordin Sparks.

Sparks co-stars with Houston in her final movie, "Sparkle," which was finished before she died in February.

Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and sister-in-law, Pat Houston will be on hand for awards show in Las Vegas. It airs live on ABC at 8 p.m., Eastern time.
