Just what Facebook needs, you're thinking -- more ways for people to share stuff about their lives. The social networking site has launched a batch of new apps to let people tell their family, friends and co-workers what they're up to.

Among the apps include ways to report what they cooked for dinner, what they're wearing -- or what concert they went to. In all, there are more than 60 new apps, all geared toward putting stuff on their Facebook profiles, now known as their Timeline.
