SAN FRANCISCO - It's a special coming attraction for Netflix users. Though only time will tell if it's enough to quiet the complaints the video streaming company has been getting lately.

Netflix says it has secured the Internet video rights to films and television specials from DreamWorks Animation.

The multiyear deal includes material from the studio behind "Shrek," "Kung Fu Panda" and "Madagascar."

It comes after weeks of disruptive changes by Netflix owners -- like raising prices and moving to spin off the part of the company that handles DVD rentals by mail.

The decisions upset many of Netflix's 24.6 million U.S. customers -- and caused its stock prices to drop.
