Lindsay Lohan heads back to court -

Lindsay Lohan is due back in a Los Angeles courtroom Monday for a hearing that will determine when her trial on three misdemeanor charges will begin.

A judge has ordered the actress to appear after questioning her New York attorney's competency to defend her during a hearing last month. The judge's comments were directed at lawyer Mark Heller's knowledge of criminal law in California, where he is not licensed to practice.

A trial on charges that Lohan drove recklessly then lied to police and obstructed officers from their duties after a June car crash could begin later this week.

Lohan has pleaded not guilty. She faces up to 245 days in jail if a judge determines her conduct was a violation of her probation in a 2011 case.
