Kanye West empathizes with President Bush who says West's criticism of his handling of Hurricane Katrina was the low point of his presidency.

West told a Houston hip-hop station (97.9 The Box) that he can "understand the way he feels to be
accused of being a racist" because the same thing happened to him when he interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the VMAs on MTV.

He says both cases showed "a lack of compassion."
