LOS ANGELES -
It's the kind of thing that makes some people roll their eyes when they hear about the Jackson family.
Jermaine Jackson has declared that he plans to change his name.
His new name: Jermaine Jacksun.
Doesn't sound like much of a change -- except when you consider the spelling.
Jermaine wants his new last name to end with the letters S-U-N, not S-O-N, like the other members of his family.
Michael Jackson's older brother has filed a name change petition in Los Angeles, saying the switch is being requested for "artistic reasons."
A hearing on the request is set for February 22.
Jermaine Jackson is no stranger to strange names.
He named one of his sons Jermajesty and another Jaffar.
