Actress Jada Pinkett Smith is on the offensive – she’s defending young celebrities from the media.

Smith wrote a blistering post on Facebook, standing up for Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift – even Rihanna – from what she calls the media’s bullying.

“A lot of people don't feel bad for these young celebrities cause they're world famous. But they're still human beings who are going through a tough
time while they're teenagers,” said ABC News consultant Howard Bragman on the issue.

Smith sums it up, writing the following, “We WISH we could have had the capacity to accomplish HALF of what they have accomplished along with ALL these challenges they face.”

The mother and wife of Will Smith has an inside look at what happens with young celebrities. Her son is currently on tour with Bieber.

On those calling Bieber a “good boy gone bad,” Smith responds by questioning the attacks on his image.

“Is it okay to continually attack and criticize a famous 19 year old who is simply trying to build a life, exercise his talents while figuring out what manhood and fame is all about?” she wrote.
