BALTIMORE - Back and knee injuries are common among dancers said local dancing champion Nikolai Pilipenchuk.
Watching Hamill's Monday night DWTS performance Pilipenchuk knew that she was injured, but said he didn't think it was so severe that she would leave the competition.
Most athletes perform with injuries said Pilipenchuk.. "When it is your life, your career, you might look past them and go on or ignore the pain, but I think she (Hamill) did the right move by withdrawing.”
