Chris Brown: Brawl at club being investigated

NEW YORK - So what exactly went down when Chris Brown and Drake ended up in the same club yesterday morning?

It's something police in New York City are trying to figure out right now.

Brown's people say the singer and his girlfriend Karrueche Tran were the victims of what they call "a brutal attack."

Brown tweeted a photo of himself with a cut chin, then later removed it -- as well as other messages about the fight, including epithets and taunts.

Police say witnesses report two men approached Brown's table and asked if he had a problem with Drake -- and Brown said he didn't.

Later as Brown left the club, five men blocked his exit, removed their shirts and started yelling.

During the confrontation, bottles began flying.

But police say they aren't sure whether the bottles were thrown by either entourage -- or by club members who were trying to stir up a fight.

A rep for Drake says the rapper didn't do anything that would have hurt anyone or caused any damage property.

Authorities say they are looking at surveillance footage and talking with witnesses to try to piece together what happened.
