Chris Brown no longer has to keep his distance from Rihanna.
A judge in Los Angeles has eased the stay-away order against the singer -- keeping him from getting
within half the length of a football field from Rihanna, his former girlfriend.
The decision yesterday by Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg came after an attorney from Rihanna said she didn't object to the provision being eased.
The judge says she never would have OK'd a change in the restraining order without Rihanna's consent -- and without Brown having completed domestic violence counseling.

The amended order stays in effect until August, 2014 -- when Brown's probation is to end.
