Swift & Minaj honored at Women in Music luncheon

TAYLOR SWIFT has brought another amazing 12 months to a close by landing the coveted Billboard Woman of the Year award.
The young country star and pal Nicki Minaj were both feted at Billboard's sixth annual Women in Music luncheon on Friday (02Dec11).
Minaj was previously announced as the recipient of the music trade publication's Rising Star Award.
Sporting a new fringed look, a thrilled Swift, who turns 22 on Saturday (03Dec11), says, "It's an amazing way to end what's really been an incredible year."
And she was thrilled to be part of the ritzy affair with Minaj, adding, "She's one of my favorite artists to come along in the past couple of years, and Super Bass is my favorite song of the year."
