Fans of the SPICE GIRLS have been given a glimpse of their London Olympics reunion after the singers were pictured rehearsing for Sunday's (12Aug12) closing ceremony.
The girl group, which last performed together on a worldwide reunion tour in 2008, will be driven into the center of the Olympic Stadium in London's Stratford standing on the roof of five traditional U.K. black taxi cabs.
The band is expected to perform three songs including 1996 break-out hit Wannabe.
The closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, masterminded by James Bond music composer David Arnold, is set to feature some of the best British pop and rock, with the line-up including George Michael, The Who and Jessie J.
Muse have also given fans a sneak preview of the closing ceremony by posting a picture of their rehearsals on Twitter.com.
In the image, the group's frontman Matt Bellamy is seen holding a black guitar and is trailed by a group of drummers dressed in unique gold costumes with a set of apparent, larger gold drums above their heads.
Bellamy captioned the picture with the words, "Warming up..."
