Second magazine to publish topless Duchess of Cambridge shots

Editors at a second European magazine are preparing to publish sensational photographs of British royal CATHERINE, DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE sunbathing topless.

Prince William and his wife filed a lawsuit for breach of privacy against French publication Closer on Friday (14Sep12) after its staff ran a series of images of the Duchess with her bikini top off during a break in Provence.

Now bosses at Italian mag Chi are preparing to publish a 26-page spread next week (begs17Sep12) featuring images from the royal couple's holiday.

Chi editor Alfonso Signori has defended his decision, telling Reuters, "The fact that these are the future rulers of England makes the article more interesting and topical. This is a deserving topic because it shows in a completely natural way the daily life of a very famous, young and modern couple in love."

On Saturday (15Sep12), the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attempted to put the controversy behind them during a visit to Borneo, where they were filmed being winched up a tree in the rainforest while wearing hard hats before crossing a rickety rope bridge. The couple is currently on a tour of Southeast Asia to mark Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee year.
